Good Morning! Monday January 24, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It'll be mild today, mid 40s, and mostly cloudy. The storm system that they've been predicting for several days now suddenly has "shifted", and apparently we won't get much of anything. They don't "rule out the possibility" of a stray flurrie .. but I seriously doubt I'll see any of that! LOL!
Yesterday: We had a good day, not terribly busy. The kitchen got a good cleaning (counters cleared mainly), and we put together a shelf unit. It was not as good as the others, but it's up (and full! LOL!). Mostly we dreamed and planned ... about this year's garden, and next year's decorating. :)
Today: I have a bit of laundry to finish putting away, and plan to run some errands this afternoon. Cans and other metal will go to the recycler; I found a place to get rid of an old monitor; and I'm looking for some more storage solutions.

Today is "Belly Laugh Day" ... "National Compliment Day".

Quotes of the Day:
"The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook."
-- William James

"When dealing with the insane, the best method is to pretend to be sane."
-- Hermann Hesse

"Some mornings it just doesn't seem worth it to gnaw through the leather straps."
-- Emo Phillips
