Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast for today is cloudy, but at the moment it's quite clear (though not yet "bright"). It will be lower 40s, and windy. Earlier in the week they were talking about snow today, but the "pattern" changed, and that's now out other than possibly a stray flurry. The next storm coming looks like it will also skip the snow. We've already had snow 4 times ... so am I disappointed? Today, no. Next week ... you betcha! LOL!
Yesterday: It was a very busy day. While I didn't get as much done as I hoped on the cleaning project, I got a lot more errands done than I expected. Several bills got paid, and my car got fixed!! (nothing "serious" .. a burnt out turn signal light, and the window washer fluid was out, making a warning light come on. But, we couldn't get the hood open. The hood latch got fixed, as well as the other problems!)
Today: We're going to my sister's house for a baby shower for my youngest niece. That will be fun - seeing family as much as anything. Later in the afternoon I will continue working on cleaning the upstairs room so I can (eventually) put the Christmas stuff back up. :)
Today: "National Joygerm Day" ... "Saint Gudula Feast Day (Christian)" ... "Show & Tell Day at Work" ... "Midwife's Day/Women's Day (Greece)".
Quotes of the Day:
"Joy is prayer - Joy is strength - Joy is love - Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls."
-- Mother Teresa
"Part of being a Master is learning how to sing in nobody else's voice but your own."
-- Hugh Macleod
"How much easier it is to be critical than to be correct."
-- Benjamin Disraeli
"Moments of kindness and reconciliation are worth having, even if the parting has to come sooner or later. "
-- Alice Munro
