Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today we get sunshine and highs possibly in the low 60s. It will be a gorgeous day, a nice "reprieve" from all the gloomy and cold stuff we've had lately. If I can't have snow, I'd like sunshine! LOL!
Yesterday: We had another doctor's appointment to go go, and it was not a great day. Between traffic, getting lost, not getting to eat, more traffic ... well, least said the better! It's done, and we don't have to find that particular location again.
Today: I hope to take advantage of the weather and do a lot of errands. I have many stops to make, and hope to have time for some quick projects at home too. I got a LOT of sleep for a change, so hoping I don't fizzle! LOL!
Today is "Curmudgeon's Day" ... "Freethinker's Day" ... "National Seed Swap Day" ... "Thomas Paine Day" ... "Anniversary - Seeing Eye (guide dogs)" ... "Admission Day (Kansas)".
Quotes of the Day:
"I do not take a single newspaper, nor read one a month, and I feel myself infinitely the happier for it."
-- Thomas Jefferson
"I bought a cactus. A week later it died. And I got depressed, because I thought, **. I am less nurturing than a desert.
-- Demetri Martin
"In taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior."
-- Sir Francis Bacon
