Good Morning! Sunday January 9, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's very cold, but clear and bright. I'm not really sure what the forecast is (it keeps changing, and I missed the report last night); but I believe another "system" is heading our way. It seems to be very undecided if we'll get snow or not. But ... yesterday while at my sister's house ... it DID snow!! The sun was still shining, which was really weird. But it snowed a lot, just not for long. Hmmm ... that's snow on 4 out of the last 5 weekends, and possibly more coming.
Yesterday: I had a truly lovely day, most of it spent at my sister's house for my niece's baby shower. It was a lot of fun, good to get with family as always, and met some new "family" (relatives of nephew-in-law). The girls came up with some funny games ... grown men drinking (chocolate milk) from a baby bottle for example. And, there was some really good food!! (My BIL makes killer chili!!). :)
Today: I haven't made a list yet, so not really sure what I'll do today. One of my favorite (but highly overpriced) stores has their Christmas stuff down to 70% off ... might go see if there's anything worth having left! LOL! And, I will find some time to continue the work on cleaning and organizing the upstairs. I'll have to remember to open the door (at the top of the stairs) for awhile first, so it won't be too cold to go up there! :)

Today: "Martyrs' Day (Panama)" ... "Balloon Ascension Day" ... "Positively Penguin Day" ... "Stephen Foster Day"
