Good Morning! Saturday April 16, 2011

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning, even though the day may end up a bit strange. The massive storms crossing the country are now closing in, and the Carolinas seem to have a big target on them. But, weather is an imprecise art at best .. and they could be wrong. Maybe we'll only have a lot of lovely rain. :) I do hope, however, that none of my friends here have been or will be effected by any severe weather!
Yesterday: I got a lot accomplished, even though it wasn't what I thought I would. I didn't get much done outside ... I kept meaning to, but then would go on to another project. I don't think I finished anything (except the never ending dishes and laundry ... even hung clothes out, lovely day!). But I got a lot of progress made on a lot of different projects, and decluttering done in several areas. I even managed a quick trip to take trash to the dump!
Today: It's a dialysis day, so even though I'm not *thrilled* to have to go out in inclement weather, go out I must. Twice. LOL! I hope to put the time in between to good use, house cleaning and sewing. If it gets stormy I won't, I get uneasy ... but, maybe it won't be so bad. Also, hoping my DS and his family will come by for a visit, since they are braving the weather to go to museums today.

Today is "Lazarus Saturday (Orthodox)" ... "National Auctioneers Day" ... "Record Store Day" ... "Teach Your Daughter to Volunteer Day".

Quotes of the Day:
"I have a right to my anger, and I don't want anybody telling me I shouldn't be, that it's not nice to be, and that something's wrong with me because I get angry."
