Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's cloudy and windy with storms again heading our way, but at least they seem to have diminished a bit. It won't be quite as warm as yesterday with highs around 80; and it may begin to clear by afternoon. Many prayers go out to those hit by this round of storms.
Yesterday: It turned out to be a busy day, and I got a lot accomplished. We had an afternoon meeting with the kidney center "team", with the result being a new surgical appointment will be set. This is excellent news, as it means many things will be much easier, as well as DH will feel better (eventually! LOL!). And, I finished my project!! It's in the dryer now (must be sure it's completely machine washable you know!) :) And of course I got to see Scotty sing, not once but twice. I do like that young man, I hope he wins.
Also, I am quite happy to share with my readers that my niece had a baby boy yesterday afternoon!! A new baby in the family, what joy!!
Today: It's a dialysis/work day, so of course a bit of a busy morning. As well as all the "usual" routine, I'm finishing up the washing of the blanket so I can take pictures; and then proceed to the next project. Tonight, however, I think I'll probably do ... um ... nothing! LOL!
Today is "Poem in Your Pocket Day" ... "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" ... "Workers Memorial Day" ... "National Day of Mourning (Canada)".
