Good Morning! Friday, September 18, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's cool out, and it's Friday! :) We have one more day of temps around 80, cloudy skies, and possible showers. There were a few off and on yesterday, but more would certainly be welcome.
I did good last night, got an entire project done. Of course, it wasn't one on my "list"! LOL! But, important never-the-less. Tonight I hope to tackle some cutting out phases; and hopefully that cookie dough I haven't gotten to yet! :)
This morning I overslept ... oops ... so running late!

Today is "National POW/MIA Recognition Day" ... "National Respect Day" ... "Anniversary - US Air Force" ... "Independence Day (Chile)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body."
-- Sir Richard Steele

"It is better to wear out than to rust out."
-- Bishop Richard Cumberland

Today in history:

In 2006, the world's first female space tourist lifted off from Kazakhstan bound for the International Space Station. Anousheh Ansari, an Iranian-born U.S. telecommunications entrepreneur, reportedly paid $20 million for the ride.
