Good Morning! Monday September 7, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's one of my few but precious paid holidays, yay! It will be cooler today, around 80; maybe cloudy, maybe even showers off and on. Things are a bit dry now, a shower would be welcome. Especially since I got the porch mostly done. :)
Yesterday was a lazy day - they're nice every once in awhile, even though I always feel faintly guilty for not getting things done. The good thing is - as long as I have this huge "to-do" list, and books to read, and movies I haven't seen yet, and piles of sewing projects (and a few craft projects too) - well, I'll never have time to be bored! LOL!! I did work a little bit on several things. I have finished most of what I needed done on the porch, despite yet more wasps (found 2 more nests!). I did laundry, baked cookies (an experimental recipe), and got nearly done with the phase I'm on for one of the sewing projects.
Today sounds like a good day for my "rainy day" project, getting some cookie dough made and into the freezer. Of course, a few may end up getting baked too! LOL!

Today is "Grandma Moses Day" ... "Labor Day (US)" ... "National Grandparents Day" ... "Neither Rain Nor Snow Day" ... "Anniversary - Google Founding" ... "Independence Day (Brazil)" ... "Labor Day (Canada)".
