Good Morning! Wednesday September 2, 2009

Good morning! It is a gorgeous morning! This is such perfect weather. I do enjoy the changing seasons, but this is my favorite. Fall has actually started a bit early this year, and I'm loving it. Today will get to about 80, clear and sunn, light breeze, low humidity. We've had enough rain that my fall flowers (especially mums, which I love!) are blooming like crazy ... and I also have a few summer holdouts still blooming. For now I have a happy yard!
I did not get everything done last night I hoped to; but I did get a few things taken care of. I started watching AGT ... but ... I confess. After I heard the Texas Tenors, I didn't care if I saw anything else or not. They've got my vote (well, if and when I do vote! LOL!). Stunningly beautiful voices.
Tonight I hope to make a better dent on my list. Even though I'm doing well on my "cleaning schedule", I'm falling behind on all the peripheral projects I need to get done. I've only got 3 months at the most for some of them ... and others, even less. Time to really dig in now! :)

Today is "Bison-Ten-Yell Day" ..."Calendar Adjustment Day" ... "V-J Day" ... "Independence Day (Vietnam)".

Quotes of the Day:
"The best car safety device is a rear-view mirror with a cop in it."
-- Dudley Moore

"The trouble with being poor is that it takes up all of your time."
-- Willem de Kooning
