Good Morning! Sunday September 27, 2009

Good morning! It's a lovely fall day. Although starting out a bit overcast, it should clear up and be sunny by afternoon. The forecast is for low 80s, but if it clears early enough it might be warmer than that.
Yesterday was mild and cloudy all day, but didn't actually rain until late evening. We spent the day with friends, met some new friends. It was a long day; but a necessary "part of life".
I'm still waiting to decide what today will hold. I don't know if I'll finish the cleaning that's scheduled for this weekend, go off for the day, have company ... or something else I don't even know about yet! LOL!

Today is "Ancestor Appreciation Day" ... "Gold Star Mother's Day" ... "Kiwanis Kids' Day" ... "Saint Vincent de Paul Feast Day" ... "World Tourism Day" ... "True Cross Day (Ethiopia)".

Quotes of the Day:
"You can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth."
-- Evan Esar

"I'm worried that the universe will soon need replacing. It's not holding a charge."
-- Edward Chilton
