Good Morning! Thursday September 17, 2009

Good morning! It's a gorgeous fall morning! I woke up to rain this morning! :) Today is forecast to be in the mid 70s and cloudy, and possible showers. Yay, we're getting some much needed rain. I believe we got a few brief showers yesterday too. It's not a lot, but every little bit helps.
Last night was much better for me. I got laundry done, including put away. I got all the sewing done on one small project (that needs to be mailed very soon); I got all the quilting done on another small project that now only needs a finishing step. Once again, I'm down to cutting, pinning, or other "hand-work" that is tedious but necessary. Perhaps tonight I'll get some more cookie dough made ... depends on TV! LOL!
I only watched the last part of the AGT finale last night, enough to see who won. It was not the one I liked most; but I'm totally happy with the nice young man who won. He's a great singer, and I'm sure we'll hear more from him.
I'm sad that AGT is over ... but .... So You Think You Can Dance has started! LOL!! So I merge from one type of talent show right into another. Happy me! :)

Today is "Citizenship Day" ... "Constitution Day/Pledge Across America" ... "Day of the National Hero (Angola)".

Quotes of the Day:
"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in."

"Money can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy."

A Thought for the Day
