Good Morning! Tuesday August 31, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. There's more mist this morning, but also hard shadows. It's still hot here, today will be upper 90s; maybe even triple digits where I am. At least the humidity is still low. It appears we'll continue in our record-breaking string of days in the 90s for at least this week.
Last night I did very little (needed to unwind after a very stressful day at work); but I did sew some! Yay! Perhaps I'll also sew tonight - if I can stay awake. Has anyone ever tried crate-training a cat? LOL!!

Good Morning! Monday August 30, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The little bit of mist this morning only seems to be near the ground ... giving the trees the odd effect of the trunks dissappearing into the mist, but the tops are dusted with gold. Today we'll be back in the mid 90s and sunny; but with lower humidity so it won't feel quite so hot.
Yesterday was one of the laziest days I've had in a really long time. It didn't take long to get dishes cleaned up and put away (large serving bowls and trays), or to get sheets and towels washed and dried. Beyond that ... I read, I watched TV, I napped! LOL!
Today it's back to work ... counting today, 11 more Mondays! :) Tonight I'll catch up "regular" laundry. Maybe. For sure I will do some sewing.

Good Morning! Sunday August 29, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's clear and bright, and at the moment quite comfortable. It's supposed to be mid to upper 80s today and sunny.
Yesterday started out quite busy. I got some baking done early, and finished up what cleaning I wanted to get done. My niece got here around 11:30 (she drove down from Richmond), and we had a lovely visit. Since I see her so rarely, that was quite a treat. By late afternoon, my brother and sister-in-law arrived; and later my son & his family. So there were 9 family members (and we really miseed the other 6 who weren't able to join us), plus 4 friends who joined us (at various times). We had WAY more food than we needed. Even after sending a lot home with family, we won't have to cook for several day! Yay! :)
This morning the neighbor's little boy came over wanting to target shoot in the back yard. My niece and Jimmy went out there ... nice that it's comfortable out there right now! Sadly, she has to get back home, so is nowor and poet Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. in 1809

Good Morning! Saturday August 28, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. As is beginning to seem "normal", it's starting out misty; but it's bright, and I can see "hard shadows" of the trees. It should be a perfectly gorgeous day, mid to upper 80s and mostly sunny. I have company coming, so for once am very glad of no rain in the forecast! :)
Yesterday was a wonderfully productive day. With some help, several major projects got completed (or mostly done). This morning I'm doing a bit of "last minute" cleaning and baking. Later today a niece is coming for her first ever (much too short) weekend visit. I'm so excited about that. Then this afternoon several family members are joining us for visiting, food, target shooting, food, and fun. Oh, and food. LOL!

Good Morning! Friday Augsut 27, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. There is again that morning mist, but it's very bright. It should quickly burn off; today will be partly cloudy (but with very little chance of rain), and around 90ish. Yesterday was a lot warmer than we expected, but still a very nice day.
I got most of my errands run (including, finally, groceries! LOL!), and some major cleaning done. There were things I didn't get done, but I'm hoping to get to them today (another vacation day).
I've already got laundry going, and in just a few minutes will be putting a cake in the oven (trying to do that before the day heats up too much for the oven!). Then I've got more cleaning to do, a few quick errands (different town today), and, hopefully, will finish my chairs project! :)

Good Morning! Thursday August 26, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's a little misty, but bright; and the forecast is for partly cloudy and low 90s. We have a small chance of showers, but mostly it's going to dry out for the next few days. The rain is always welcome; but now we need dry just long enough to cut grass and weed the gardens! :)
I still didn't get to the grocery store last night. We had company, and my friend came over to help me with some things. She brought me a heavy duty stapler so I can work on the chairs (finished another one!). I did get a bit more decluttering and organizing done.
Today is a vacation day, and it's going to be busy. I have errands to run this morning, an appointment at 1:00, and then the grocery shopping. Later I plan to do some baking, work on chair seats, and more cleaning. Busy, busy! LOL!

Good Morning! Wednesday August 25, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's pale gold out, becoming brighter. Though the forecast is for morning cloudy, it looks to be already clearing. Yesterday we had wonderful all day rain, the good soaking-in kind (in addition to some really heavy downpours!). Today it'll clear by afternoon, and be mid 80s. Gorgeous!
I had a slight car problem yesterday (turned out to be just a battery terminal), made me very late getting home (plus didn't get to the grocery store yet). I tried to make up for lost time ... I did manage to get several things knocked off my "to do" list; or at least get a start on them. :) I still have the chair project to finish (need to borrow a heavy-duty stapler!).
Tonight I'll try again to get the grocery shopping done, and work on a few decluttering projects. Good thing TV is mostly reruns! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's all gray and damp out ... a very good chance of a rainy day, and only going to low 80s. Wow, it will feel like fall - a lovely change from the heat! We got a bit of rain yesterday too. My garden is happy. My grass is happier. My weeds are happiest of all! LOL!
I found a little spurt of ambition last night, and got several small chores knocked off my list. I also got laundry caught up. Has anyone noticed that I seem to have an awful lot of laundry for just two people? LOL!!
This morning I have an eye doctor appointment before I go to work; and on my way home I'll need to stop by the grocery store. Then, hopefully, I'll find another spurt .. maybe enough to work on one chair seat anyway. :)

Good Morning! Monday August 23, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! There's a little bit of mist yet to burn off, but looks to be mostly clear and bright today. The forecast high is only 89 ... though around here it actually could get into the low 90s. There's still a small chance of left over showers as a front moves east. Yesterday it was overcast all day at the coast; and heading back west to go home, we ran through a torrential storm. It only lasted maybe 15 minutes (driving Very slow), and then only occasional sprinkles. When we got home, the roads were damp and lots of puddles, so we got at least some rain at home. Yay!
Yesterday was a pretty lazy day again. My DGD and I made a quick run to Dunkin Donuts; other than that, it was a repeat of Saturday. We got a much later start heading home than expected; with a few stops (food, gas), it was nearly 10:00. That means I didn't get any of my projects done; so the rest of the week will be very busy! :) Tonight I hope to get busy on the chair seats (having finally gotten some staples! LOL!).

Good Morning! Sunday August 22, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's overcast and warm here, and wet. We got several storms during the night; and according to the radar, nothing "back home". Well, there's chances of more today, and only around 90. Even though there are still lots of days in the 90s ahead, it feels like the worst of the heat is past. Of course, I could be wrong! LOL! In any case, we'll take rain whenever we can get it and be very thankful.
Yesterday was relaxing to the point of being (nearly) boring. The most active thing I did was take the dogs out. (one at a time, and just in the yard). I did fix supper for the kids last night; Jimmy and I ate some of Cindy's yummy left-overs! :)
This morning I've tidied up a bit, and taken the puppy out twice. In a few minutes I'll get myself cleaned up and maybe go to Dunkin' Donuts. Hey, it's a grandparent's right to spoil kids, right? :) Later today we'll head home; I don't know when so don't know what I'll get done at home.

Good Morning! Saturday August 21, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! I don't even remember the forecast for today; but I'm at (almost) the coast now, so it would be different anyway. It's a gorgeous bright clear morning so far, and it's already quite warm (I've already been out walking the dogs!).
Yesterday was very busy, but I actually got everything done I needed to; or at least, everything I've remembered so far! LOL! We left about mid afternoon, got here just after 5:00. Last night our DGD was in a church production (after a week of KidShine "camp"), and it was absolutely fantastic! We are So proud of her. :)
Today will be just relaxing .. or as much of it as possible with a rambunctious puppy! LOL! I expect we'll be in and out a lot with the dogs .. or at least the puppy. Other than that, watch TV, play on the computer, eat when we feel like it. Hmmm ... wonder what it is I'm forgetting? LOL!

Good Morning! Friday August 20, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's a bit overcast looking right now, but the forecast is for mostly sunny, mid 90s, and much less humidity. No rain for today, but we got lots of lovely rain yesterday! It rained off and on all day, and all the plants got the really good soaking they were needing.
We, too, had a great day. We went to the Marbles Kid's Museum (which is poorly named, IMHO. It is NOT a museum at all, but a learning center. Or even a giant playground! LOL!). It is a beautiful building, lots of cool and interesting architecture (would love to see my niece take some pictures there!). The boys had a wonderful time ... even the 13 year old (though it seems to be aimed primarily at younger kids). After there we made a quick stop at an open-air market in downtown "old" Raleigh; and then went down Hillsborough St., just to see the new layout, and made a stop at the Farmer's Market. I got a few more water plants, some new potatoes, and a nice big fresh tomato! :) We stopped for pizza on the way home, and then made a quick grocery store stop.
Today we are going to New Bern, so I'm working on getting some odds and ends done before we leave. Laundry is now caught up (again), kitchen is cleaned, and I'm working on getting the DGS (age 9) into the shower. Lots to do today! :)

Good Morning! Thursday August 18, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's all gray and WET out! LOL! Today will "only" go to the upper 80s, and probably be mostly cloudy. We may even get more storms. We had storms ... complete with thunder and lightening ... roll through last night, and got lots of lovely rain. Of course, that also meant no TV or computer. I got more laundry done (DGS had to have clean clothes), some spot cleaning, and worked on the chair seats. Not hugely productive, but pretty good for me! :)
Today I'm taking a vacation day. I got to sleep late (the kitten is finally learning I'm not a playground!), and have swept the kitchen. After this is sent out, I'll get my self ready for the day, we'll go pick up a girlfriend and her son, and go to Raleigh to the kid's museum! That should be a fun day ... as well as a nice way to spend a rainy summer day! :)

Good Morning! Wednesday August 18, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's overcast, even dark in places, which is at least a hopeful sign of rain. Today will "only" be around 90, mostly cloudy, and a good chance of afternoon storms (even though it looks a lot like it could start now!). Of course, everything got watered yesterday. :) But, as hot as it's been, it would be hard to get "too much" water.
Last night I finally got another step done on the chairs I've been working on. All the components are assembled; now I just sit and staple ... not nearly as easy as it sounds! LOL! I started, but the gun ran out. I have more, but don't want to open yet (I think I was overcharged for them!). I also finished putting up the laundry from the night before; but that's about all.
Tonight I will work on the chairs; and probably not much else.

Good Morning! Tuesday August 17, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's still going to be hot ... mid to upper 90s, humid, adn partly cloudy (but no mention of rain). The heat index will again be over 100. We're bordering on setting a "streak of hot days" record here. Well, thankfully, fall is only about a month away. (not that it actually cools down, but we can dream! LOL!).
Last night I didn't end up getting anything done but laundry. I start the day full of good intentions ... but get home and it's SO hot! LOL! So I get lazy. Oh well. Just 13 more Mondays, and then I'll have a little bit more time. In theory at least. :)
I hope tonight to get to start work on the chair seats, but not sure yet. If not, I'll try to find something instead of just sitting here. Maybe. :)

Good Morning! Monday August 16, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's bright and clear out, and will be mid to upper 90s today. It'll be humid, and a chance of afternoon storms; but mostly north, so we likely won't get any rain. I thought my plants might get watered over the weekend, but that didn't work out ... so tonight I have to untangle hoses and get the sprinkler going!
Yesterday was a nice day other than too much riding in the car. We stayed with family until early afternoon before heading home. We made one quick stop at a Farmer's Market (fresh corn, and some more water plants for the fish pond. We seem to have gourmet fish!!), and were home by late afternoon (including a grocery stop). I got the car unloaded, the groceries put away ... and that's all! LOL! My son & family got there later in the evening to bring our grandson for a visit. We ate dinner (deli chicken - no cooking!) before they had to go home. We get to have Alex visit for a whole week! Yay!
I don't know what's on schedule for tonight. If I get my chair seats, I'll start on those. I'll be doing laundry for sure.
I apologize, but there are no historic events or birthdays today. My "usual" source has ... again ... forgotten to turn the calendar page. I occasionally look back to last year; but this time last year I was out of town for my parent's anniversary, and had no internet access. So, hopefully, the usual will be back by tomorrow. :)

Good Morning! Sunday August 15, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's a bit gray, and looks damp. They need rain here as much as we do at home. I looked at a radar picure, and it appears none of the rain has made it there yet ... but I remain hopeful! Meantime, in honor of "National Relaxation Day", everyone here slept really late! I even slept until past 9:00 ... practically unheardof for me! LOL!
Yesterday was a very nice day. We went out to breakfast at one of our favorite places here, and then just did a bunch of random errands. My sil had a list of places, and we quite contentedly went along. Sometimes one or both of us went inside (I had a lovely drooling spree in Sears ... if anyone wants to know ... I would LOVE that red Kenmore mixer on sale!! ROFL!!), sometimes we just waited.
When we came back to the house, we all just had a quiet afternoon ... napping, playing on the computer, etc. My brother grilled some steaks (he is THE master!), and then we played some Banagrams (we are definitely better as teams), and just talked a lot before calling it a night.
In a short time we'll be loading up the car and heading home. We can't stay too late today, as our grandson is coming later this afternoon for a week visit. Yay!! Tonight I'll be unpacking and doing laundry again .. and that's about it.
I would also like to mention (because it's "Best Friends Day" too) today would have been my parent's 66th anniversary ... and I know they are best friends together in heaven forever! What a joy to have that while missing them so much.

Today is "Best Friends Day" ... "Chauvin Day" ... "National Relaxation Day".

Good Morning! Saturday August 14, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. I'm not really sure what the forecast is, but I *think* it's for low 90s; maybe even upper 80s. And possibly mostly sunny. At the moment I'm west of Raleigh, where the forecast is centered. Anyway, it's a perfectly beautiful morning. :) We left right after work last night to come to visit family for the weekend. We got here a little before 10:00, and then sat up visiting quite awhile. I miss my little kitty ... but sure did enjoy a good night's sleep without being a playground at 3 am!! LOL!
Today we're going to go out for breakfast; and then do a lot of nothing! Really? Maybe some shopping; or maybe some sight-seeing, if it's not too humid. Or maybe just come back here and visit. Funny, as a family, we don't seem to get together a lot for that. I'm working on a change ... in my small way. For today - I feel like something wonderful is going to happen! :)

Good Morning! Friday August 13, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's going to be "much" cooler today, only low to mid 90s. It will be mostly sunny and very little chance of storms (which I did not get last night). But ... it's Friday. It's payday. AND .. it's the 13th!! Woo Hoo, doesn't get much better. :)
Last night I got laundry caught up ... yes, completely (well, except what we were wearing of course! LOL!). I got packed for the weekend; tonight as soon as I get home from work, we head off to visit my brother and sil for the weekend. Yay! No projects, no plans .. Good Morning! Thursday August 12, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's surprisingly "heavy" looking now, and the forecast is for mostly cloudy and possible storms. It'll be cooler today ... only 98 or so, with a heat index as high as 110. Yikes!! I do hope for the storms (though not, of course, "severe"!!), because I'm not very good at keeping the watering going. The garden looks happy for now ... at least the weeds haven't died. :)
Last night I got laundry done, and a few other small chores around the house. I didn't get as much as I hoped; but perhaps tonight I'll finish up what I needed. I haven't been following "SYTYCD" very closely, but tonight is the finale and I will try to watch it.

Good Morning! Wednesday August 11, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's not as misty as the past few mornings have been, and it's going to be HOT today. The forecast is for 99, so around here it could easily go to triple digits; and will definately be over 100 heat index. It may be partly cloudy by afternoon, but very little chance of rain. I will need to water and run sprinklers tonight. I meant to last night, but ended up having company later than we expected (and enjoyed every minute of it!); and I'm running late so it won't get done this morning.
We had a lovely family visit last night, but I didn't get anything else done. The kids had a lot of fun playing with the kitten. They tired her out so much, she fell asleep in the early evening, and slept until 3 am ... when she decided I was a playground! LOL!
Tonight I will try to do laundry, and maybe get to work on the quilt project. I hope! :)

Good Morning! Tuesday August 10, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's gray and mistly looking now, but that will burn off quickly. We'll have yet another hot day ... upper 90s ... and mostly sunny. Which, naturally, means no rain again. I will have to find time to water tonight!
Last night was crazy around here. I had to go by the grocery store, then when I got home a neighbor and my friend were here. The neighbor cut the grass (had to borrow our mower, so cut both); and my friend finished gluing the chairs. Yay! After things calmed down a bit, the kids played games and read their books while we fixed supper. They were so would up that my (9 y/o) grandson fell asleep on the floor! LOL!
I don't know what they have planned for today, but I'm sure they'll manage to be tired by the time their parents get here tonight.
I suspect the only thing I'll get done tonight is laundry. :)

Good Morning! Monday August 9, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. When I first looked out, there was a delicate pink mist. There's still a touch of mist, but it's fading quickly, and bright out now. It'll be mid to upper 90s again; partly cloudy, but not a single word about chances of any rain.
Nothing about the weekend turned out like I expected; but it was all good anyway. Even though Saturday was very tiring and hot, we did enjoy the trip and were glad we could help out with the planting. Then yesterday we got an unexpected call to have 2 of the grands here for 2 days. (plans they had fell through at the last minute) We're tickled to have them of course. I didn't get all the things done over the weekend I hoped to ... but having the children here is SO much better! LOL! Even the kitten doesn't seem to object (which is pretty amazing considering Alex has been carrying her around ever since he got here!).
Today Jimmy is taking them to visit his sister, and to McD's for lunch. Tonight they'll probably want to play games (and they have reading to do). I, of course, have to work ... but only 15 more Mondays! LOL!

Good Morning! Sunday August 8, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Today it's supposed to be low to mid 90s, and partly cloudy. At the moment it's bright, but random clouds pass across the sun from time to time. I'm not sure if there's much chance of rain, but I hope so. It could rain every day and not be too much in this heat!
Yesterday didn't go quite like I expected ... which, of course, is what I expect! LOL! We did get our few errands run, it just took longer than we thought. I forgot to factor in the crowds shopping on tax-free weekend!!! Oh well, we managed to find most of what we were looking for, and I got the board for the chair seats. It was so late, we went on down to New Bern. It was SO hot .. we must be crazy! :) Anyway, my son and dil have a banana tree and a lot of cannas planted, a start on some glads, and clear simple instructions so they can finish up. They fed us well before we headed home; and we got home around 11:30.
Today, of course, I need to *try* to do all the things that didn't get done yesterday. And, of course, I won't get to all of them; but I certainly intend to make a good dent in my "to-do list"! :)

Good Morning! Saturday August 7, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The heat is climbing again ... mid 90s today. It'll be mostly sunny, and the only chance of showers in the "southern counties". I'd like to think that included me, but probably not. We did get a shower last night though. It didn't last long, but every bit helps; and we didn't get more than distant rumbles of thunder.
I finally worked on the chair last night. It was much harder than the others ... it had dozens of tiny staples. But, the needlepoint cover is removed, and the seat is in very good shape so only needs new fabric stapled on (hopefully this weekend!). I also got started on laundry, but probably won't finish until tomorrow.
Today the "plan" is (and you all know how that goes, right?) to get the wood for the new seats for the older chairs, check out one special yard sale (only happens about every other month), and then come back here. I'm hoping to get the new pump set up to the pond while my friend glues the chairs. Later this afternoon we're all riding down to my son's house to help my DIL plant some new shrubs she's been given. Wow, it's going to be a long day! LOL!

Good Morning! Friday August 6, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. We had a little bit of light rain last night (while north and south of us there were storms again); this morning it's again pale and sparkly. We didn't get as hot yesterday as predicted (the weather guru says it's because the sun's energy was evaporating instead of warming). Today we should be low 90s, mostly cloudy, and probably more afternoon and evening storms. I wouldn't mind more rain, though I'm quite OK with the "severe" weather skipping me! :)
I ran my errands last night after work. I had a hard time finding some of the things I was looking for (you just wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a very specific light bulb!!!). It ended up being pretty late by the time I got home. It had been one of "those" days at work .. so basically, I did nothing. So tonight I need to make up for lost time! I still have that chair to de-construct, a caulking job to finish, a sewing project to work on ... and I suspect there's something I'm forgetting. :)
The kitten's favorite passtime is climbing on me. Ouch! It's hard when I'm getting ready for work in the morning, so I shut her in the kitchen. She's at the door crying. Oh no, I feel so mean. But I'm not letting her out yet! LOL!

Good Morning! Thursday August 5, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! Right now it's pale and sparkly out, though later it will partly cloudy, and around or just over 100! And, heat index reaching 105 or more. Yikes! But the good news (for me) is that the storms that moved across the state during the night did NOT miss me for a change! Wow, did it rain (and thunder and lightening ... in the wee hours of the morning). This morning everything is fresh and clean and soaked ... a good beginning for a very hot day. There's the usual possibility of afternoon storms.
Last night I did a little better. I had some sheets and towels to be folded and put away, and that's done. And, I have finished all that I can do so far on the sewing project. I don't have enough blocks done yet, but I can start sewing on what I have. Yay! Tonight, however, other things need to get done. I will have to go by Wally World for some things Jimmy didn't get yesterday. That gets the evening off to a late start; and I have a chair to de-construct. And, I'm sure, there'll be other things I've forgotten. :)

Good Morning! Wednesday August 4, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's easing up to hotter, mid to upper 90s today. It will also be mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers. I sure hope it's a good chance ... even with watering, everything is just so dry right now. Now that we're in August, the weather "seems" more normal summer in NC. But, it's still hot! LOL!
Last night I mostly worked on my sewing project. I am very nearly through with the boring part, and hopefully very soon can start actually sewing again. I'm going to try to finish that step tonight. Well, almost finish. Actually, I have a few more blocks that need to be "layered" and pinned, and then the boring part (tracing a pattern). And THEN I can start sewing it all together! :)

Good Morning! Tuesday August 3, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The heat is back, going to low 90s today (and building through the week). It will be only partly cloudy, and no mention at all of afternoon storms. I didn't water yesterday, so absolutely will tonight. After I untangle the silly hoses! :(
Last night I tried to run some errands on the way home. I had no idea how hard it would be (in my small town of course) to find a caulk gun!! My fault, I was trying to avoid Wal-Mart. I guess tonight I'll go there (unless Jimmy goes out and gets one today). I did a bit more spot-cleaning and organizing, and a tiny bit on the sewing project
Tonight I *plan* to start the last little bit I need to do on the caulking project. We know how my plans go! LOL!

Good Morning! Monday August 2, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's pale and clear, with just a touch of early mist still there. The forecast for today is upper 80s, mostly clear, and with only a slight chance of afternoon storms. The weekend was a lovely little touch of fall, but summer is coming back .. by tomorrow back in the 90s. Yes, that's August in NC ... but I think we've already had our share of them! LOL! And, after all that lovely rain Saturday night, by tonight things will be all dry and gasping again. Back to the sprinklers. :)
Yesterday I did not get much of my sewing project done, but at least a little bit. I did finish up the laundry, all but putting away part of the last load. I did more spot-cleaning and organizing. We went to a friend's son's birthday party, and had a lot of fun visiting.
Today, of course, it's back to work. I have 16 more Mondays to work ... doesn't sound so bad that way! :)

Good Morning! Sunday August 1, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. I woke up to gray skies and puddles!! Rain in the night - Yay! The forecast for today is upper 80s, cloudy, and showers likely. It seems like the seasons have gotten skewed ... we had the hot weather a month earlier than "usual", and today feels like fall. Of course, it's only the first day of August ... I'm quite sure we're in store for many more days in the 90s! But for today .. lovely. :)
Yesterday I didn't do as much as I hoped, but still not too bad. I got a lot of the laundry caught up, and I got several "hot-spots" cleaned, as well as the kitchen and bathroom (on-going cleaning, as we all know!). I ran a few errands in the morning, but not an all day excursion. I tackled several small projects around the house, but didn't get to work on the "bigger" projects. I did spend some time on my sewing project too.
Today I'm getting off to a slow start. The kitten (finally) let me sleep past 5 am! LOL! We're going to a birthday party this afternoon, so hoping to get a few smaller things done this morning; and then work on the sewing project this evening.
