Good Morning! Thursday August 18, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's all gray and WET out! LOL! Today will "only" go to the upper 80s, and probably be mostly cloudy. We may even get more storms. We had storms ... complete with thunder and lightening ... roll through last night, and got lots of lovely rain. Of course, that also meant no TV or computer. I got more laundry done (DGS had to have clean clothes), some spot cleaning, and worked on the chair seats. Not hugely productive, but pretty good for me! :)
Today I'm taking a vacation day. I got to sleep late (the kitten is finally learning I'm not a playground!), and have swept the kitchen. After this is sent out, I'll get my self ready for the day, we'll go pick up a girlfriend and her son, and go to Raleigh to the kid's museum! That should be a fun day ... as well as a nice way to spend a rainy summer day! :)

Today is "National Aviation Day" ... "Independence Day (Afghanistan)"

Quotes of the Day:
