Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. I woke up to gray skies and puddles!! Rain in the night - Yay! The forecast for today is upper 80s, cloudy, and showers likely. It seems like the seasons have gotten skewed ... we had the hot weather a month earlier than "usual", and today feels like fall. Of course, it's only the first day of August ... I'm quite sure we're in store for many more days in the 90s! But for today .. lovely. :)
Yesterday I didn't do as much as I hoped, but still not too bad. I got a lot of the laundry caught up, and I got several "hot-spots" cleaned, as well as the kitchen and bathroom (on-going cleaning, as we all know!). I ran a few errands in the morning, but not an all day excursion. I tackled several small projects around the house, but didn't get to work on the "bigger" projects. I did spend some time on my sewing project too.
Today I'm getting off to a slow start. The kitten (finally) let me sleep past 5 am! LOL! We're going to a birthday party this afternoon, so hoping to get a few smaller things done this morning; and then work on the sewing project this evening.
