Good Morning! Sunday August 22, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's overcast and warm here, and wet. We got several storms during the night; and according to the radar, nothing "back home". Well, there's chances of more today, and only around 90. Even though there are still lots of days in the 90s ahead, it feels like the worst of the heat is past. Of course, I could be wrong! LOL! In any case, we'll take rain whenever we can get it and be very thankful.
Yesterday was relaxing to the point of being (nearly) boring. The most active thing I did was take the dogs out. (one at a time, and just in the yard). I did fix supper for the kids last night; Jimmy and I ate some of Cindy's yummy left-overs! :)
This morning I've tidied up a bit, and taken the puppy out twice. In a few minutes I'll get myself cleaned up and maybe go to Dunkin' Donuts. Hey, it's a grandparent's right to spoil kids, right? :) Later today we'll head home; I don't know when so don't know what I'll get done at home.

Today is "Southern Hemisphere Hoodie Hoo Day" ... "Be An Angel Day".

Quotes of the Day:
"The only place where success comes before work is a dictionary."
-- Vidal Sassoon

"I don't have a girlfriend. But I do know a woman who'd be mad at me for saying that."
