Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's Friday, it's payday, and we're having a party (baby shower) at work. It will still be hot .. mid to upper 90s. But it may be a bit breezy today, that will help. They're saying partly cloudy (misty again so far), and maybe storms. I'm still hoping for rain!
The electrician didn't come last night. So, bookcases still in the way, waiting for him to show up. Do y'all think my boss would mind if I did that ... just show up when it suits me? LOL!! I didn't get much done, because we kept waiting for him. I did get the shower gift wrapped (but taking extra paper to work in case someone can do it better! LOL!).
Tonight ... who knows. I have a lot planned for the weekend. I'll either try to get a "jump-start" on things .... or I'll "rest up" first! :)
Today is "Anniversary - District of Columbia Established" ... "La Paz Day (Bolivia)".
Quotes of the Day:
"Those that think it permissible to tell white lies soon grow color blind."
-- Austin O'Malley
"I tend to live in the past because most of my life is there."
-- Herb Caen
