Good Morning! Saturday July 3, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. We're still having a high of mid 80s, clear and bright and just a touch of breeze. It's still much less humid than it normally is this time of year, and just a wonderful day for being outside. This is the spring we were *supposed* to have but skipped for the super-hot June! LOL!
Yesterday was quite busy. I managed to do a bit of cleaning before leaving the house for work ... nothing drastic, but enough for the house to give the illusion of being clean. :) It was busy at work, as the boss is on vacation and I have to fill in one tiny bit of her duties. I got off early (not to worry - made up the time at lunch earlier in the week!), met my brother, and got a car title transferred. Then we came back here and had a nice visit. He brought me some more things from our parents; and we had fun watching the 2 dogs interact ... or rather, try to. The little one was very territorial and barky when the bigger one was outside ... but when she came in, the little one tried to hide! LOL!
Today I have no idea what I will be doing. Astonishing as it is, I haven't made any plans. My house is "clean enough" for now; and I have a 3 day weekend. Tomorrow there will be July 4th activities (we're invited to a cookout). But today ... I think maybe I'll go get some supplies to work on the chair project, and also to put some small shelves in my kitchen. :)

Today is "Air Conditioning Appreciation Days (07/03-08/15)" ... "Compliment Your Mirror Day" ... "Dog Days (07/03-08/11)" ... "Stay Out of the Sun Day" ... "UN International Day of Cooperatives" ... "Admission Day (Idaho)" ... "Independence Day (Belarus)" ... "Tour De France (France)".
