Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's going to be a very hot day ... most likely record-setting. The forecast is for 102, and we're normally a bit higher. Yikes. Not a day for anything outside for sure. The plants will get watered before I leave this morning ... no rain in sight for several days at least.
Lat night I got a few things stored away upstairs (I'm really running out of room up there! LOL!). My DDIL & grands got home from their CA trip around midnight ... everyone but me is sleeping in this morning! Hmmmm. They'll go home today; and I'm really going to miss Sophie (pup). Perhaps tonight I'll bring home my new kitten. Well, no, maybe I'll wait one more night ... until I go get a litter box and kitten food! LOL!
Tonight ... I have no idea what I'll find to do! LOL!
Today is "Father & Daughter Take a Walk Day" ... "Tell the Truth Day" ... "Independence Day (Solomon Islands)" ... "Running of the Bulls (Spain)" ... "Saba Saba Day (Tanzania)" ... "Tanabata/Star Festival (Japan)".
Quotes of the Day:
"I was a vegetarian until I started leaning toward the sunlight."
-- Rita Rudner
"Nothing is easy to the unwilling."
-- Nikki Giovanni
Inspirational Joy for the Day:
Our prayer and God's mercy are like two buckets in a well:
While one ascends, the other descends.
