Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Of course, I haven't stepped outside .. it's clear and bright and breezy, but also already upper 80s. Forecast for today is 102. Since I'm told this is "normal" I suppose I should get used to it. Not. LOL!! By tomorrow the worst of this heat should back off, and even a good chance of rain.
Yesterday we got more done than I thought we would. My niece and I picked up a friend and we went to town to check out a new coffee shop. (it is very nice ... anyone near Benson, I highly recommend it!!). We came back to the house so Jimmy could use the car awhile (2nd car unavailable until a new radiator is put in it next week). We got all the needlepoint seat covers off and ready to clean, and 2 of the chairs are glued and clamped. Hopefully I'll soon have a set of gorgeous old needlepoint dining room chairs. :) Late in the afternoon we made a quick grocery store run; and everything outside got a good watering.
I've been surprised at no comments about the little table that was my project. But, my niece loves it, and since it's hers that's all that really matters. Today we'll take her ... and her table ... home. In this heat ... we probably won't even attempt anything else. Hopefully tonight I'll get to work on my sewing project again.
