Good Morning! Tuesday July 6, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's bright and clear, and already warm. The forecast is for 98, and since we are south of the forecast area, probably around 100 here today. Wow. Is this "global warming"? Or just "eastern warming"? :)
Yesterday was busy. We ran a bunch of errands ... seemed like I spent the whole day coming and going. But, I did get some things done here. More laundry hung out, and put up. Some furniture re-arranged. It is getting frustrating, though, to have so many projects on-going, and not get time to just sit and sew.
Tonight I will need to do just a bit more cleaning. Family will be returning from an out-of-state visit, and will be here tonight. They go on back home tomorrow ... sadly, I will lose "custody" of the dog. (but I get to claim a kitten!).

Today is "Earth at Aphelion" ... "Take Your Webmaster to Lunch Day" ... "Day of Statehood (Lithuania)" ... "Independence Day (Comoros)" ... "Republic Day (Malawi)" ... "Unity Day (Zambia)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Change your thoughts and you change your world."
-- Norman Vincent Peale

"A mother only does her children harm if she makes them the only concern of her life."
-- W. Somerset Maugham

Inspirational Joy for the Day:
It is with a word as with an arrow -
Once let it loose and it does not return.
