Good Morning! Wednesday August 19, 2009

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. At the moment, all seems quiet and serene. There's still early mist, and a bit of cloud cover that hasn't burned off yet. It looks like yet another mid 90s day with a small chance of afternoon storms. NC in August - hot and humid! LOL!
I had a totally unexpected day yesterday .... spent it all in a class my boss had forgotten to tell me about. It was a good class, but I do prefer a little notice about things like that! :)
Last night I got some significant progress made on 3 different projects ... none of them being the laundry I need to finish! LOL! Perhaps I'll get that tonight. I did watch (most of) AGT last night, and there were several acts I was quite impressed with. I don't remember what's on tonight, so maybe I'll watch the results.

Today is "National Aviation Day" ... "Independence Day (Afghanistan)"

Quotes of the Day:
"A family is a unit composed not only of children but of men, women, an occasional animal, and the common cold."
--Ogden Nash

"Do what you love, love what you do, leave the world a better place and don't pick your nose.
-- Jeff Mallett
