Good morning! It's a lovely summer morning. The sun is burning through the early mist, making it glow ... beautiful! It's going to be hot again, mid 90s, and not much chance of storms.
This was a wonderful weekend! While not all of the family was able to get together, there were 10 of us who joined Mama and Daddy. They live in a retirement complex, and the head chef (in collaboration with my brother I think) put on the most marvelous meal for us. Everything about the day - and the weekend - was nice, all except for the missing loved ones who couldn't join us.
Today, it's back to a long, long "to-do" list! LOL! I will try to include a post about the weekend, with pictures. Mine aren't great, but they'll do. :)
Today is "Independence Day (Gabon)" ..."Independence Day (Indonesia)" ... "Meaning of "IS" Day" ... "National Thrift Shop Day".
Quotes of the Day:

"An opinion should be the result of thought, not a substitute for it.
-- Jef Mallett
