Good Morning! Tuesday August 11, 2009

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's bright and clear, and so far not too hot. Today may be another triple digit day, and a small chance of afternoon storms; but after today we get a drastic change. And in any case - it is what it is! LOL!
I had to stop on the way home from work for gas, and a few groceries. So, didn't get a lot done last night. I worked on a few projects ... got over half way on the one I have to finish by tomorrow night. Tonight mostly all I'll do is sew and watch (I think? LOL!) AGT.

Today is "Ingersoll Day" ... "Saint Clare of Assisi Feast Day" ... "Independence Day (Chad)" ... "Heroes' Day (Zimbabwe)".

Quotes of the Day
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.
-- Miss Piggy

"Traditions are the guideposts driven deep in our subconscious minds. The most powerful ones are those we can't even describe, aren't even aware of.
-- Ellen Goodman
