Good Morning! Tuesday August 18, 2009

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! The sun is glowing down on top of a bit of remaining early mist ... eerie but lovely! It's going to be another hot ... mid 90s ... day, with only a few "isolated" storms. Our yard could already stand some rain, but at least it's not parched yet. The flowers are still happy ... and I have a few that are actually ecstatic! LOL!
Last night was not particularly productive. I'm still catching up from the weekend ... finish unpacking, laundry, etc. And all that after a stop at the grocery store on the way home. Somebody heard the word "hurricane" (WAAAAAY out in the Atlantic), everyone rushed to the store! Really, I've never seen it so crowded on a Monday.
Hopefully tonight I'll get to start back on my sewing projects. They're piling up again. :)

Today is "Bad Poetry Day" ... "Anniversary - Birth Control Pills" ... "Anniversary - Mail-Order Catalogs".

Quotes of the Day:
"The smaller the mind the greater the conceit. "
-- Aesop

"Always hold your head up, but be careful to keep your nose at a friendly level. "
-- Max L. Forman
