Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It will be hot (low 90s) and humid later, but for now it's quite comfortable. Of course, I haven't gone outside yet! LOL! It's a little bit misty and overcast, but that will probably burn off. We may have a few afternoon showers. We got a lot of rain yesterday! YAY! It stormed off and on most of the day. Every time we thought it was clearing, there was that rumble in the distance.
I didn't get everything done I wanted to; but I did get a lot done, and I'm starting to see a glimmer of progress in my overall plan. I *think* tonight is just reruns, so maybe I'll get more caught up. Or maybe not! LOL!
Today is "Watermellon Day".
Quotes of the Day:
"Do you realize if it weren't for Edison we'd be watching TV by candlelight?"
-- Al Boliska
"There is nothing like dream to create the future. Utopia to-day, flesh and blood tomorrow."
-- Victor Hugo, Les Miserables, 1862

In 2005, in the first emergency repair conducted in space, astronauts fixed a potentially dangerous problem by removing two strips of protruding cloth from the underside of the space shuttle Discovery that could have overheated during re-entry.
